Central Community Transit (CCT) Fare-Free Pilot Program

During CCT’s fare-free pilot project period, riders who get on and get off of the bus at an established CCT bus stop can ride without charge or fare. No tokens or bus passes are required! All you need is yourself and a place to go. Need to get from one side or Willmar to the other? Check out the map, board the bus, and get off at the stop that’s closest to where you want to go. It’s that easy! Use it for shopping at the most popular stores, most have frequent daily stops. Get to a different part of town to visit friends or grab a bite to eat. The free Willmar Transportation possibilities are endless. The bus stops are located in every part of the Willmar area so you can get pretty close to where you need to go in town.

This opportunity will run from July 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023

Enjoy fare-free rides, and unlimited use, during CCT’s normal Willmar Route hours

All buses are equipped with an ADA Wheel-Chair lift and experienced drivers to offer assistance. Bike racks are available in front of the buses to easily load and transport them.

CCT and our partners believe it is important to ensure every Willmar resident has quality access to transportation so they can fully participate in community life (employment, education, healthcare, shopping, worship, social engagements, etc.).

Take the mystery out of riding the CCT Bus and try riding for free today!
