Eric has always centered his career on the MMDC region, where he was born and raised. He is dedicated to improving the standard of living among our region’s residents. With a background in social work and workforce development, Eric strives to be useful and is happy to serve our Commission and the stakeholders of this dynamic region. He values respect, innovation, dedication, and social justice.
In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Sommer, daughter Bailey, son Spencer, granddaughter Atlas and their family dog, Weather (a small German Shepherd mix). He also enjoys traveling, both throughout the U.S. and abroad, as well as boating, watching movies, and reading crime fiction. The Fugitive and Top Gun are two of Eric’s all-time favorite movies and Minnesota’s own John Sandford is his favorite novelist.
