Michelle was born and raised in Greater Minnesota. She had the privilege of growing up surrounded by agriculture and a small-town atmosphere and traces this back to her grandparents’ farms in Nobles and Murray counties. In addition to an associate’s degree in finance and credit from Alexandria Technical College, Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in business management as well as a Master’s of Business Administration Degree from Southwest Minnesota State University. She brings significant customer service, supply chain management, and relationship-building experience to the MMDC.

Michelle loves the rural atmosphere and the unique offerings of Greater Minnesota. She enjoys being a part of community projects that enhance people’s lives. Michelle is also passionate about bringing affordable and quality broadband to Greater Minnesota and is currently involved with Kandiyohi County’s Broadband Committee. Michelle and her husband have three grown children and enjoy spending time with their dog at home near Willmar.
